Kurniawan Tanzil

Kurniawan is co-founder and Managing Partner of SHIFT. Prior to co-founding SHIFT, he served for many years at one of the prominent law firms in Indonesia, where he was a Senior Partner for five years. Kurniawan has extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and commercial areas, which are the solid fundamentals for his broad expertise in banking and finance. His practice highlights include the representation of domestic and international clients in financing transactions, project finance, M&A, debt restructurings, aviation, TMT related transactions as well as capital market transactions (such as bonds issuance and initial public offerings (IPO)). Kurniawan is also experienced in establishing foreign investment companies and advising clients on various employment matters.

Kurniawan graduated from Law Faculty – Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia in 2003.
